How do you get an EORI number?

The process of obtaining an EORI number usually begins with the submission of an application to the appropriate customs office. In Poland, an application for an EORI number can be submitted electronically through the PUESC system or in person at the customs office of your choice. The required documents may vary depending on the legal form of the company, but it is usually necessary to present a current extract from the National Court Register (KRS) or business register, as well as identity documents of the person submitting the application. Once the application has been submitted, a customs certificate must be generated in order to assign a SISC ID number, and then the business entity must be registered with SISC.
